Life Lesson 2

You know that say:

"Dont judge a book by its cover"...

Well that does not always apply to books, Im sure you all know it applies to people, items, jobs, and etc.

Here's a short story, to help you to never JUDGE the book by its cover, or JUDGE at all:

This lady walks into a grocery store, she has a ziplock bag full of coupons and has basic clothes. She only buys what her coupons and money allow, and even had to put some of her things back @ the counter. The cashier treats her horribly and huffs and puffs because she was annoyed. she even told the  lady that she needs to make sure she has enough money next time.

the next day the same lady goes back to the grocery store with top of the line clothing and buys the same exact food with no coupons, and goes to the same cashier. The cashier does not recognize her and actually treats her better and alot differently from yesterday.

Right before the lady leaves, she asks the cashier to call her manager...she gladly calls him because she knows she has given the lady great customer service.

Well the manager comes, she explains the scenario from the day before...and in the end she was the CEO of the company...testing the morals of her employees

So in the end...

dont judge the book by its cover, just because someone is dressed a certain way, does not make them a certain way...

and it gives no one the reason to JUDGE and feel they are better than someone...

because the fact that yoou're judging just made you lower than the next

So think about that next time, you forget

And JUDGE SOMEONE

Life Lesson 1

Some days when I wake up in the morning, the first thing I say is: UGH, I have to go to work!

Not thinking about all the people who dont have jobs or the people who died in their sleep

Then I have to stop myself and say Thank You Lord for another day

I always take things for granted, like for example, my air conditioner was broke for ONE day and I thought I was going to die...I was in here hyperventilating and spazzing out, and it really wasnt that bad, but Im so use to air condition.  I never realized how important a/c was too me or how convenient and comfortable it made my life.  I feel a great deal of pain for the people who work outside on a daily basis, I commend them and wish I could do something for them. Because somebody has to do it!

So the lesson I literally just learned is:

Every once in awhile, STOP and be grateful! I know its hard to do it sometimes, but just like you make time for everything else, you have to take time out and...THANK GOD for his many blessings that he has bestowed upon us...

So Thank You God, because Im living a pretty good life, never wanted for anything and I thank you Lord

So, did you STOP today and Thank the Lord, or did you continue to be selfish and think somebody owe you all things you have and the air you breath....NO ONE owes you anything, because you would be no where with out HIM

Okay, I'll Text You...

This post is about the power of text messages! These things are taking over the world, I mean I rarely call ppl! When  someone says, "hit me up later"...I automatically text them unless they're old or electronically challenged!  I have become so accustomed to texting people that I actually HATE talking on the phone, unless its my sweetheart, then thats another story. For the most part, I hate talking to people, I become irritated when they prolong conversations, sometimes when people call, I ignore the call and then text them, just because I don't feel like talking!

To me, a text message is a silent conversation, I can say EVERY thing I need to you through a text message. Another thing is, if you have alot to say, my phone has the option to keep texting and it will automatically split the message for me, isnt that awesome!!!

One thing I do not like about text messages is, sometimes people read them wrong. they can interpret it in a way you didnt mean, let me give you an example:

"You Like My Outfit"
"You Looked Bad" (In A Horrible Way)
"You Looked Bad" (As You Looked Good)

Now, there is no telling the way the person is going to read that! you can only hope for the best and keep it moving...

Besides that, the world of texting is great and convenient...

One thing Im trying to STOP doing and thats texting while driving. It is very unsafe and it now consider illegal! So do me a favor and make a comment and sign my NO TEXTING WHILE DRIVING Pledge...

The stories I hear from my uncles and aunts, our grandfathers were absolute clowns...now I see where I get it from...wish I couldve really had a chance to meet them and hang with them...they wouldve made life more fun...LOL

I want my child to have this when they grow up...I would love twins...hopefully I'll get them, since my grandfather was a twin :-)

Aye Yo, another thing that I am obsessed with is --->

SOCKS....

I LOVE socks...

I became obsessed with socks when I was in high school...I bought my first pair of socks from dollar general...yes dollar general...I went in there to buy a poster for my school project and I saw it...it was all pink with yellow polka dots...and I instantly fell in love. and then on top of that, it was only a $1...so I really thought I hit the mother load...LOL...after that, every store I went in, I searched for socks...wal-mart, kmart, dollar general, family dollar, the mall, sneaker stores, etc...EVERY WHERE...I was addicted to colorful socks...

At one point I was known for my socks, my friends would actually ask to see what socks I had on that day, they would laugh at me all the time, but in a fun way....

Well as you can see, that I DONT like dull socks, I LIKE bright vibrant colors that stand out and make people stop and say "HEY COOL SOCKS" LOL....
